How do I mask my bots version when people send version request to it?

Is it possible to link leaf bots to a hub correctly with only the hub having open ports? Do the leaf bots need open ports?

I added a party line user with the +m flag.

However, the user cannot use commands such as +chan etc.

What permissions are needed to allow the use of such functions within modules?

I was able to get in the channels and and can verify this using my mirc client.

However, when I use .status it reports that it's not in the channels.

It states that it is (trying).


Any ideas?
