I am now back in the Unemployment corner, but I am keeping myself active, mainly in the user support comunity, but just not dedicating my time to eggdrop any more. Instead, I am ...

Food for thought indeed. I think the only thing you are not understanding here though is, he was banned from our channel for acting lewd and sending uninvited messages to female customers I heard that loud and clear, and if you didn't read my post, I sugest you do. The customer doesn't come out as a...

Wow, I love this thread. It is rife with claim and counter claim. Put it this way, if taken to court, the OP would be laughed out and the company given stern warnings in customer service. In all the years I have delth with shells, I have to say that I agree that pitbullshells.com is likely one of th...

Well, considering as soon as you place the ban, the countdown starts, it only takes one second to pass before it turns to 4 days, 23 hours, 59 mins and 59 sec.

Eggdrop shortens it to the days only.

I will need to check on that in the source though.

The only problem is, you are transmitting the data in plaintext still.

All the MySQL functions will do, is see that remote disk storage is encrypted. It doesn't help with a data interception.

Indeed, that is the correct behaviour. Remember, this is eggdrop, and not a telnet server. Telnet is designed for console control, whilst eggdrop is designed as a simple interactive interface, nothing more. The only reason you DCC client supports this, is because you are editing the string to be sen...

Alternatly, use some proper code to do it. They will only convert the specific chars you tell it to, this function/procedure will convert all the required stuff in the text. proc ::ncgi::decode {str} { # rewrite "+" back to space # protect \ from quoting another '\' set str [string map [li...

It's not my script causing that.

My scripts consists of only two regular expressions, both of which are all 100% valid.

Beyond that, there is no procedure called check_pubm. Which sugests another script you have loaded.

I didn't sugest that you did flood his channel with questions. Rather stated a fact that if he did. It is very clear from my post, I do not condone the actions against your channel. However, channels are not property, regardless of a registration system. Two things come to mind with that. 1: They ar...

I party agree with the actions of the admin here. Just because there are methods of listing vhosts available on a system, that doesn't grant permission to use them. I agree with the fact he terminated the account, this is his right. I don't agree with him opping in a channel to change the topic the ...

Indeed, WinDOP is not every script. However, that doesn't mean your going to get any more or less support for it from here.

Frankly, with your sarcasm, you will be lucky to find any help on it.
