even with -ipv6 installed, the egg can not resolve an ipv6 ip to a server, it can resolve a server (irc6.blabla.net ) to a ipv6 ip .. so please set the servername and not their ip

I had teh same problem, that usually ment that the bot was active in the background, or stil not really pinged out , make sure that the other egg is really gone ?
