I'm having the same problem as marc. I guess i always assumed +protectops also applied to ban protection, but apparently it's only for reopping a +o flag user if they're deopped. Is the unbanning of +o flag users hardcoded into the source? And if so, how easy is this to change?

You should probably look through the readme file again. There are a whole bunch of settings you need to put in netset.tcl besides just loading the script.

I'm not sure if this would matter or not, but it looks like you compiled your bot with a tcl library from version 8.3.x and a tcl header file from version 8.0.5. You might want to recompile.

Would it be possible for sentinel to unlock the channel after the number of channel bans goes under the specified number in netset.tcl, much like the -i and -m timer settings for the channel flood detection?
