MySQL Quote Database script problem, need help

I installed this script: http://www.grogg.org/eggdrop/quote/quote-2.5.tgz I set it up to use a remote mysql table, since my shell does not support mysql. Now, it works fine, exept for the fact that any command only works on the second time. For example, I try to add a quote with "!put test"...

MegaHAL AI 2.6b problem

The bot seems to work and learn fine, except for the fact, that he reverses the case of the words, ie BiG the bot turns info bIg, cOOl into CooL, etc. Therefore most sentences are written, as if the bot has a caps lock turned on.. Anybody had that problem?

A script to keep +k on channel

Basically I need a skript that would keep a definable key on the channel at all times. Right now the bot removes the key after rehash, restart, or if someone but the owner of the bot sets the key.

Thanks for the script, though there seems to be a problem with it. The bot voices users on public messages, but does not devoice them after defined period of idling.

Special voice script

Is there a script out there, that will do the following:

1. If a user joins a channel and says something, the script would voice him.
2. If the user is idle for xx minutes, the script would devoice him.

ICMP is disabled on my shell, is there any other way to ping a host (not a nick), other than icmp ping?

I was refering to this particular script, where you (in case you get it to work) only add new klips from http://www.klipfarm.com to the list.

Klip Irc News (KIN) aka RSS news parser.

The script is made by Ycarus @ http://yews.fr.st/

Did anybody get it to work ? I got numerour errors, even whote to the author, though without a reply... It seemed a perfect script for a news channel.
