Hi there,

I'm using no.spam1.7.2.tcl for my eggdrop. But sometime msg as below appears;

Tcl error [check_pubm]: couldn't compile regular expression pattern: brackets [] not balanced

How to fix it up?

peharps the eggdrop isn't lagging, but seems to... If you have scripts using a lot of ressources, as using a pubm on a big channel, the eggdrop is parsing a lot of lines. So, when you ping him (using a /ctcp eggdrop ping), it must treat all the lines it saw before you send the ctcp and then reply.....

Yeap, almost 5-6 mins ping reply.. And the bot doesn't disconnected from irc server, still alive but very² lagged...
