yeah like I said the room in on unreal with +R set so its not a big deal. I was just wondering if there's a more clean way to do it.

Im wondering how to set the users on the eggdrop to have telnet access... is it another flag or do you have to do it with a seperate command. I've read through the docs and all the help commands while connected dcc to the bot. thanks

one thing you can do is read the tclcommands.doc that came with the bot... and add to the script i think it's newexempt nick host 0 stick i think will make it stay perm and constantly on

I know this reply is kinda late... If you open the eggdrop.advanced.conf (it may be in others) it very specifically tells you what to do in case of having to deal with NAT. basically you do like he said myip outside ip (not 192.168.0.2)

Ok nobody replied to this but I found a way to fix it I jsut added "newexempt *!*@host" to the ban script and that fixed it. If there is another way though I would like to know

I'm trying to add exempts to the bot... however whenever it restarts it drops the exempts and the stick exempts i put on it. im using: .+exempt *!*@host then .sticky exempt *!*@host then .save also if I do .exempts it shows all the proper exempts yet it isnt using any of them. another soemwhat relat...

ok i finally got the listing, the first error is

Tcl error [join_main]: can't read "botnick": no such variable

I'm gonna try to set that btu i thought it was already suposed to be set

not none as far as i could tell, but its running on a remote shell as a bg proc so i cant really tell.. its pretty well just ignored everything.

The other thing i needed to ask is, im using thsi bot to monito irc channels not botnet channels, if that changes the code any... cuz it doesnt seem to work when I tried it.

Basically what im trying to do is have the bot set up so that it will check to see if a user is on both of two channels, if they arent i want it to set a temporary ban.
