I like the concept because I've seen it on other channels. However: there, the bot behaves intelligently. Which means that if a certain voice user is being kicked or banned, the bot will voice him immediately for being an active chatter , and this state will be cancled at 0:01. I wonder if something...

MEGAHAL repeats passwords given in private ...

Hi,

I guess it's not so much a safety risk if megahal isn't installed that people can /msg their password, but it's worse if megahal just picks this up and repeats these passwords inside another conversation...

is there some way to stop this behavior ?

I have that too after someone got 500 points, and for the damn of it you cannot modify the score file so people can get over 500 points, that error always comes back unless you delete the wscore file and let it make a new one

well, sorry but i was dwelling a bit... its actually that function at the top of the screen when you have to define chanserv's nick and what it does, (deop etc) but how is it used, does the bot op itself with that ? I'm not exactly sure really because chanserv doesn't do things when you dont have a ...

Syntax: /kline <duration> <mask> :<reason> Example: /kline 60 *@127.0.0.6 :This is almost local host If you don't specify a duration the default of 30 minutes is used. Once again if you specify 0 as a duration, the server will add the ban to the kline config means it will be permanent. Thats what my...

Ok, it does something weird, it adds a kline for: +*@full.user.host.tld (on kline type 2) so the + is too much :) I found the routines for the types where you set the + befor the [ where the banmask type begins, is it safe to just remove those ? or does it have tobe omitted somehow so the script sti...

damn, this is most unfortunate: the IRCD i'm having acts weird on the k-lines. Theres actually other types of bans instead of the regular channel bans it's not *!*@* but its *@* without the ! when the bot tries to K line a user it always uses that ! but that doesn't seem to help to keep him off, aaa...
