Make a BOT send you a DCC Chat Request.

My Windrop was excepting DCC Chat request from me a few days ago after I had to wipe out Windows 10 Professional, however as of Sunday, I had to replace both my router and modem. I know at one time I had a DCC Chat command to make the bot send me a DCC Chat request. I've lost the command, Does anyon...

So now I'm getting this error: [09:46] <SlashBot> [09:47:01] Tcl error in script for 'timer8': [09:46] <SlashBot> [09:47:01] can't read "calc_channel": no such variable And here is the code I'm using in the script, so I KNOW the calc channel variable is set... timer 2 calc_random set calc_...

Thanks, Caesar, for your reply. However since my primary bot is an eggdrop on Windows, or a WinDrop, I can't use crons. But timer sounds right. However going through the Basic File Operations, I don't see anywhere on the the commands to output to a channel(s). I see a ton of commands to read random ...

Help with timer to display Database info after XX minutes

I asked a friend on FaceBook and told him I seen several views, but no replies... He said, "POST the ENTIRE calc.tcl... That way everyone can see what it actually does." So I'm posting the entire script below! # calc.tcl v0.3g by RufusDE <rufus@o-town.de> # # Copyright (c) 1996 Jason P Sch...

Help with timer to display Database info after XX minutes

To whom it may concern, I've edit the following calc.tcl to store Computerized Bulletin Board System information set by channel users and no longer display calculation results. Bulletin Board System is shortened by a lot of SysOp (System Operators) to BBS. #calc.tcl v0.3g by RufusDE <rufus@o-town.de...

Whilst, as you suggested, the file path variable may not be configured correctly, it is not the cause of the error. The script calls the core tcl command time but with the wrong number of arguments. I can readily recreate the error below using a public command tcl shell :- [16:00] <@arfer> % return...

Sorry, I didn't even remember writing this post. Is this a TCL script, TCL_no_TK? If so, cool, I'll copy it into a TCL, if not I guess it would go into the bots config file right?

I was trying to use TCL version 8.5.9, because on the Windows Box that's the version I have installed. Yes, I was following instructions to the bone.

Every time I try to compile the eggdrop via the guide lines on this site: http://www.eggheads.org/support/egghtml/1.6.16/compiling.html#cg5 I get some weird error on my screen. eggdrop@slasher ~/eggdrop1.6.20 $ make eggdrop make[1]: Entering directory `/home/eggdrop/eggdrop1.6.20/src' This may take ...

So basically I have compile this module into a DLL for myself for my WinDrop. Not sound stupid or anything, but I've never really down that... How do I go about doing it? Oh yeah... Here is the DUMP file it creates when my eggDrop (WinDrop) crashes: Stack trace: Frame Function Args 0022B5E8 7C802542...
