It is simple as all you need do is set just the one name and the one hostmask. For DALnet I did this: #Alchera# whois dalnet HANDLE PASS NOTES FLAGS LAST DALnet yes 0 f 26 Jul (#ballarat) HOSTS: *!*@dal.net BTW, *!*@*domain.org* is totally wrong, it should be *!*@*.domain.org modified as above but ...
