Let's see, when i type in the command you suggested i get an error message from chanserv saying that command is no longer supported, and to instead use /chanserv. Here's the output when I type that in (I use /cs instead of /chanserv) /cs aop #lamers list - -ChanServ- AOP list for #Lamest - -ChanServ...

Yeah I've scoured the archive for something, but couldn't find anything that did this. What I'm envisioning is something fairly simple, basically; <+User>!Oplist <@Bot> #Channelname - Founder: TCL_no_TK | Sops: BobA, Larry_K, Tom^, Bart | Aops: Kenny, Ladybird, Nitewings, Gary Something simple like ...

OpList with Chanserv

Hi there, I was wondering if anyone is aware of any script that has a public trigger to list the ops in the channel (through chanserv). So a user for example could type; !Opslist or !Sopslist and the bot would then query chanserv in the channel it was typed in, and reply with the list of channel aop...

I sent this to you in PM as you asked for, but thought I'd also update it here as well; Thanks for your help with this. The file is just a text file called rules.txt The contents of the file are; 1) Threats of any kind of violence towards any member of our channel is subject to immediate and permane...

One question, if it's not too much trouble. The script stops (does not spit out the line) if the line is too long. Is there an easy way to make it split a sentence up into two parts if it's too long?

First off, thanks for taking a shot at this. I appreciate it. That said, the first attempt didn't t seem to work for me. Just to summarise, so as to make sure I did not misunderstand anything. I created two files. One was called rule.txt and the other was test.txt I was not sure what text was suppos...

you can make second file in the same directory or something, text file with rules 1 by 1 Yeah that's what I'm doing at the moment, but it creates a ton of different files. Would be much cleaner (as you said) if a script like this could just read off a single text file. Also I imagine it could be ad...

Script to read numbered line of text

My channel has a rules page with numbered rules for example; 1) no killing people 2) no playing barry manilow songs 3) no used disco balls As I have it now, if someone types "!rules" in the channel the bot will respond with a url for the rules page. Nice and simple. What I would LIKE to do...

That would be fantastic thanks :)

Yeah I did remove them from my script (It created a massive uproar on my channel when the bot started swearing like that, simply suggesting a small tweak for future versions

:)

It's good to see i'm not the only one getting the error.

Thanks, I would suggest though removing the swearing from the script, maybe just put something like "outoforder" or something less offensive? Some of the outputs really come out very offensive. Results like urinating or defecating at your "yoursister" or "yourmama" ... ...

This is progress. I tried the x version and i still don't get any luck with the calculator and conversion stuff. BUUUTTTTT now the bot returns an error message on the channel itself, seemingly from google itself. The message reads as follows: We're sorry... ... but your query looks similarto automat...
