I just created the exact same setup on a dedicated server and things worked perfectly. What I'm wondering is, which ports I should open on my router (or if I should open ports).

EDIT: Opening the listening ports or even completely disabling the firewall didn't help :(

I set nat-ip in both bots, and it lost userfile transfer again :(

Hi, I at last was successful in linking, but now I have another problem. I get Lost userfile transfer from botname ; aborting. How to tell where the problem is? Lost connectiion while identing

Hi,

I'm trying to link 2 eggdrops, one local and one remote. I get the Lost connection while identing error. Linking of two eggdrops on tthe same box is no problem. What can I do to iron this out?
