Thanx for your replies, the reason i installed the eggdrops from my distro package is because the regular source wouldnt let me compile. I kept getting stupid errors that i didnt have lib8.so or something, when i CLEARLY do have it. So after googling and searching this forum and so on and so forth, ...

Ok, i added a bot on my bot net as hub, and i noticed they couldnt connect, so i go to the bot i had to re-add the hub to and the hub was missing. when i did a .whois bot it wasnt there. So i just simply re-added the hub to the bot and did a .save. Then i .whois the bot agian, and it wasnt there! So...

Ok, im running my bot from my home linux machine and im running another bot from a shell account, problem is i cant see to figure out why i cant DCC chat with my home bot. Hi all, im trying to add users but the problem is that the nick len is shortened. So for example, if i tried to add a nick like BlueSkyBlue2001 it'll only add BlueSky, if not that. Is there a way to raise the length? Thanx in advance!

Hi all, i moved my eggdrop.conf from one account to the other. Since the scripts and such are in the /usr/share/scripts all users on the machine can access them, so i didnt need to move any tcls.
