few weeks ago my eggdrop was responding fine to /ctcp eggdrop CHAT

but now nothing happens i am thinking its my new computer and new installation of mIRC

can someone please tell me what settings i need to do to get this working

When i Op the bot in the channel it sets the channel to invite only and it also sets the user limit to 1 which lines i need to change?

When user is invited into the channe; using TCL script the bot auto devoice them

i installed eggdrop again and the script didn't work my bot went into the channel but the name was keep changing

first of all when i give my Bot @ it changes the channel to invite only and sets the limit to 1 and second problem i used .adduser !username and when i try .halfop username #channel it says that user is not in channel even if it is there Third problem its not creating any log file and 4th problem [1...

As soon as i give my bot halfop it start kicking everyone out of the Channel

also i cannot make it identify its name

i have this script called

announce.tcl which tells when new files are uploaded on site

when i comment that out the DCC works and when i use it it gives me error saying No telnet Port

any solution Please?
