But i found my problem.

the bot is behind a router so i had to set the nat-ip to my local ip.
I cant remember doing that on my previous eggdrop (1.6.18).

I installed eggdrop 1.6.19 (from source) on my fresh installed Ubuntu 8.04. But it wont connect to irc or let me telnet to it when i try to start it normally, it launches in the background but never connects to irc. If i add the -n (debug) when i start it, it works fine. Is this a bug or somethind, ...
