It has been fixed, though there are no work arounds other than to upgrade to 1.6.16 (when made available soon we hope) or to patch your current version.

Let me know what versions you want guys, and I will try and fix some patches up.

NewzBoy. The code strikelight posted should and does work. It is a well known workaround to other problems related to the time bind. You apear to be using the time bind, and it would also apear you are failing to post the whole of your put:hour code. How do we know this? Because of this line. bind t...

Try using a few more "Context" lines and use the normal eggdrop debugging abilties. Another note, why not use the normal Eggdrop newsplit functions provided to get words of on the input. newsplit (from the top of my head) will return the first word from the input text, and update the input...

Windrop and "Eggdrop compiled using Cygwin" are one and the same.

Hence why there is a windrop program over at http://windrop.sf.net/ where cygwin has always been used.

Tcl and eggdrop do not operate in the way you want. vwait casues eggdrop to block, IE, the whois reply is never read from the buffer, let alone calling the whois proc. What you need to do is let the proc finish, and listen for the end of whois RAW numeric. When you get this, you can output stored da...

Not telling anybody is a very idiotic way to look at security. What would make more sence is to use what Tcl calls an array. IE, you only populate a single array, where the name is an array key and then the value. Although chaging settings at will is still insecure, damage limitation is for more man...

I can't find my code, however, there was a very kind fellow here last year working on a games module (he worked for a games designer near where I live). This main question was how to make a system that would do exactly the same but using C. He kindly sent me the C code that handled this function. It...
