Need Help Can't Telnet to IpV6 bot on 1.8.3

Post by MinxKittyn »

I recently updated my bot network to 1.8.3. Almost everything is working fine. I can dcc chat them all and they link up just fine and I can telnet into the bots that aren't on IpV6. However, I cannot telnet into the bots that have Ipv6 addresses.

Here is what I have configured for one of my bots:

What do I need to do to be able to telnet into the bot?

I use putty .70

Short answer: IPv4 and IPv6 are different protocols so you would need some tunneling.

Longer answer: Since this isn't something tied to eggdrop itself but to the connection it would be a good idea to read something like this wiki page where it explains a few things.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
