Help needed

I just downloaded netbots4.09.tar.gz and uploaded it to my shell account, What do I do from here on?

Please note I am totally new to telnet and shell and so on so a detaield help would help :o)

I said I am TOTALLY new to telnet and all that [censored]. Also as for the so called help file I can't make head or toe from it it is complete double dutch to me. This is why I posted here to hopefuuly get some help.

Well, telnet to your shell telnet ip port and than follow the instructions in the helpfiles.

no offense, but if you still have problems to make a telnet connection, well than I don't think you should even think about running an eggdrop or using netbots.tcl.
May be learning some basics first would be a good idea.
