Has anyone tried those guys? I must admit amazing prices/services, but how about the lag and the reliability?

I checked out there pakages and I didnt seen any huge price diff when compared to other shells providers..

Standard Eggable Shell.
Space/quota: 30mb
3 background processes eggdrop,screen,irc.
Access to telnet, ssh, ftp, lynx, pine, perl, java, tcl, c, c++, Crontab, etc.
Access to our vhosts. / 2 Special Vhosts

This would be considered a min package for me anyways...ANd the disk quota is a little low although enough...

Dont get me wrong ive never tried them and they might be great but I dont see any great prices there :) Theve got some pretty scary vhosts there... Id be banned in a sec on a few servers I frequent.. hehe

Hi Clipped,

10x for your opinion although I still think the prices are low, that's why I'm so suspicious about this. You're right, V-hosts are cool and a lot :). Today I've been trying to access their web site for few hours but it seems to be down... not very good AD about their servers don't you think...

Regards Deac0n.

There were more websites down today due to a worm.

hi egghead,

that make sense. I looked at http://www.eeye.com/html/Research/Flash/AL20030125.html
and found something interesting:
in the section
Technical Description:
1)
2)..
5) Sends worm payload in a SQL Server Resolution Service request to the pseudo-random target address, on port 1434 (UDP).

So far I have blocked like 20 UDP packets on port 1434 today and I was wondering what's the deal with that scum, so 10x for the enlightenment.
