Nicklen is set dependant on your net-type setting.

Pyro,
Did you get this issue resolved?

My thoughts would be that Eggy does not recognize the +a mode.
Sort of like my issue here:

Ya....Eggy does not recognize Half ops and !admins. :( I read it at Ultimate IRCD site. So I guess nothing we can do. Hopefully they will incorporated it in the next release of Eggy.

Thanks. I guess next on the wish list would be +a (admin) support. ;)

Support for flags, goes by how many networks support it.

The big players are dalnet, ircnet, efnet and undernet.

Officialy, half-op support should not be available, as through the various IRCDs, they do not all use the same support.

However, I will report this issue as a bug, as the bot should not refuse to recognise it's OP.

thanks for the info pps. Yes eggy is a great everything-bot. But due to my IRCD situation, I need eggy to do the least enforcing possible. It would be nice if there was an option to disable "All" eggy's enforce features. That way, though it does not reconize +a...it won't hinder us Admins(+a) frum Chan Mode changes and such. Perhaps in future releases of Eggdrop?

This would likely require a major re-write of portions of the code.

This is currently under way, though the core of the bot isn't 100% complete yet, and will ahve aditions as modules require them.

This won't be seen in 1.6, due to the huge amout it would change, and possibly break.

The thing that makes me wonder is, it worked before...

Upon reading your post over, I believe we are having two different problems.

My problem is that I want the eggdrop to have the "!" as you call it.

It's quite funny infact, because the eggdrop doesn't recognize the +o yet when I go to deop and reop to fix the problem, it recognizes that it was deopped...
