Review the 'net-type' in your .conf file.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

I am using Unreal3.1.5.1. Do you know what net work uses this ircd. Otherwise i have selected 5 or Other.
Thanks

When you say aoped, do you mean OPed with +o or another channel flag.
If you mean another flag, then you will have to wait until the next release of eggdrop, which (if I remember rightly) cater for this.

sop aop vop on a channel using unrealircd. as in /msg chanserv aop #test add eggdrop.
this command auto ops the named person. The eggdrop does get opped, but it does not recognize it is opped.
Thanks,

That didn't answer the question I asked.
Which channel mode does the bot obtain when joining the channel?
+o
+v

He gets a +o that is what you get when you are aopped in a channel. Also
here is the settings of the bot in the channel:
channel add #test {
chanmode "+nto-likm"
idle-kick 0
stopnethack-mode 0
revenge-mode 1
ban-time 120
exempt-time 60
invite-time 60
aop-delay 5:30
need-op { putserv "PRIVMSG #test :op me cos i'm lame!" }
need-invite { putserv "PRIVMSG #test :let me in!" }
need-key { putserv "PRIVMSG #test :let me in!" }
need-unban { putserv "PRIVMSG #test :let me in!" }
need-limit { putserv "PRIVMSG #test :let me in!" }
flood-chan 10:60
flood-deop 3:10
flood-kick 3:10
flood-join 5:60
flood-ctcp 3:60
flood-nick 5:60
}

I can only see one of two possible issues here.
1: The server is sending an invalid mode messages, causing the bot to not recognise it.
2: You have bounce-modes set in the config file. Eggdrop will likely reject the mode.

I'm using the same ircd and I have net-type set to 0.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

It seems another IrCOP auto opped the bot before me. Once i removed the bot and readded the bot myself. It worked.
Thanks,
Audie
