bot dont like dcc or anything involving passwords! any ideas

i can see the bot in my channel, and it responds to all commands that dont need a password, but all others it ignores, and dcc chat sessions aswell, any1 know how to fix this?

Check the logs, and report any errors. Without this information, there is not much more help we can give.

1) Do you have access/flags?
2) Have you done: /msg botnick ident mypass?

Didjital, yes he has, or he doesn't need to.

If the bot responds and works with commands that don't need passwords, then it recognises a user. (this is only in a situation, where no flags are needed)

Note, this may be conflicting hosts masks for users. You should use "/ctcp <botnick> CHAT" to connect to the bot, then do a ".channel <channel>", where <channel> is a channel that you and the bot are in.

Look through the output it gives you for your nickname, once you have located it, check the handle next to it is your handle. If it is, then logs are needed, if not, then you need to correct your hostmasks.
