My bots seem to spit out errors when people join my channel with [] surrounding there nicks. As far my testing goes the bots will die, rehash, and reload, if the nick is [die] [rehash] or [reload] for any user. Is there a way I can fix this easily?
This is caused by an inproperly coded script, and can cause problems, as you have seen.
The only thing you can do, is make sure you have the latest versions of the scripts you run, to make sure there are no fixes in these.
The next staep would be to restart the bot, with no scripts loaded, and one by one, reload the bot with 1 extra script, testing along the way, to find out which bug the problem is in.
Once you locate the Tcl, double check you have the latest version of that one. If so, then report the script, here, with a link to download it (if not in the arhive). I will then do my best to fix it.
