dcc chat with eggdrops

I loaded the eggdrop1.6.13 and then load some other tcl files, the bot loads, you can msg it and get owner ship, but i cant dcc chat with it.
any ideas?

make sure set my-ip is correct... and check your irc client.. make sure you can actually dcc with it

try /ctcp yourbot chat ( will make the bot dcc you in case your client is broke ).. if all else fails telnet it and check your host and chat it to see the error in the bot and figure out what is wrong

also, check your firewalls.
I have the same problem if i use certain firewalls.

are you running it on the same box as your on try ctcp it then

Is it a windrop or on a shell account? Some shell providers block ports including dcc ports to prevent DoS floods. Connect to irc w/ a client (epic, BitchX, ircII) and see if you dcc chat yourself.

See the dcc-sanitycheck, protect-telnet (if you want to telnet in) in the .conf file and be shure you have the right host.

thanks to everyone for your help...............I GOT IT FIXED
