Hi!
I installed eggdrop v1.6.15, everything went fine untill i tried to dcc chat with the bot. Nothing happens. He ops me when i join the channel, he tells me about the notices, but he wont chat. Not even if i force him to (/ctcp botnick chat).
I am sure that i configured the conf file correctly. Does anyone have any idea what could be wrong?
BTW, i cannot telnet the bot either.
I am pretty sure that it's not a firewall problem.

DCC Chat problem! The bot ignores me!
First of check if you have "party line" access as in your user is marked with the +p flag. Next check the "dcc-sanitycheck" and "protect-telnet" in the .conf file.
Next you can kill and start the eggdrop with -nt options to see what happens there when you try to dcc chat with it and when you ctcp chat it.

Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
Also when you restart the eggdrop, verify what port it is using. The port set in the .conf will not always mean the eggdrop is using it.
