I want to run the eggdrop on my home pc (24/7 online) but i get stuck in installation even with the setup guide.....
I run a win2k server, i installed activeTCL 8.5beta...i tried telnet via home network to the server....but it gets an error..
what do i wrong, what do i need to do...
is there a better installation available, special for n00bs?

Hm what error you get? And also make sure if you have firewall or router, that you open ports...

what ports need to be open??
well, in the setup on this site was said i had to use telnet...but i cant connect from my own pc via homenetwork to the server :/

If you are telneting to bot without open ports, then use your private ip (e.g 192.168.0.101:[bot port ] -> 192.168.0.101:3333)..or got to IRC and DCC chat with bot...
