Yeah, i looked at the example.conf and it didn't help me. A simple explanation would be nice

I'm having problems with connecting to the IRC server with more than one client from the computer the IRC server is on. I have looked for about 3 days and cannot find a solution. I beleive it has something to do with the i, I, or Y lines in the server's ircd.conf...
