security eggdrop!?

Post by [R] »

Hello,

How can I check the security of my bot?
Whats important? What can I do to secure this...
Any great scripts patches.. or any bugs ?
Is there a exploit&bug for Eggdrop 1.6.16?

Thx&Greets

Will you ever READ Setting up your Eggdrop, Using Your Eggdrop OR Enhancing Your Eggdrop?

You can even try visiting EggHEADS.ORG. More than one of us has pointed you in the right direction on more than one occasion and the impression is that you can't be bothered reading anything.

Searching the TCL Archive also proves fruitful for those that are determined.
Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.

Only give owner and master flag to people you know good.Don't tell your telnet port out.Use last version of Eggdrop, upgrade Eggdrop when new version come out, don't use autoop (it's bad for channel protection).
