im still having a problem with this query......i set my net-type to 5, and the bot connects to austnet fine but when i do the /chat <bot> , i get no response asking for a password?

Have you tried every way to get on your bot?

or used a telnet client such as PuTTy?

If this is a windrop are you sure its getting through your firewall/router if you have either && || ??

Maybe it's because your host... You need to have same host as you have it on net where it works...

]Kami[ is correct if the new server displays your host differently to the other server i.e. your ident is prepended with a tilde ~ which you didnt compensate for when you added your host to the bot or the server uses the +x mode and maybe hides your host or encodes it into a hex string to protect you from script kiddies the bot may not recognise you.
