hi, i'm looking to make an irc bot which stays in the channel all the time using a shell account. currently i have a mirc config that does what i want, but when i close my computer down all the information is lost each time.
command such as !ip displays server ip etc etc. Is this possible to make easily?? how do i got about it?

Hi, i understand shell accounts and how to get the eggbot up and running, what i dont know yet is what eggdrop script to use? how do i add my own custom commands into the eggdrop? can i just copy and paste my .mrc scripts into the bot? does anyone know of an eggdrop script that support !server !help kind of custom commands?
