Catching a 'no such user' server response

Post by arfer »

If I do '/ctcp nick ping' and the nick is not online, I get a server response typified by :-

/ctcp arferoo ping
[20:12] *** ¢ PING sent to arferoo
[20:12] *** [arferoo] No such user

When I get an eggdrop to do the ping in response to a public command, I cannot seem to programatically catch this response either using the normal CTCR bind or a NOTC bind. What type of server response is it? Is there a raw numeric that would catch it?

Thanks for nothing Doa. I have several raw numerics listings.

The questions were :-
What type of server response is it?
Is there a specific raw numeric that would catch it

If you don't know the answer, please don't respond.

Ok, many thanks

I'll give that a try

Just one more question. I don't seem to have any raw logs (not that I know of anyway). I'm using mIRC. I must say raw logging would be very helpful, I wouldn't have needed to ask the question. What client are you using?

its rather easy to enable raw logging on party line of your eggdrop. enable raw logging in the config file and your console.
