I have Eggdrop 1.6.10
IRC server is: Microsoft Exchange Chat Service
All alright... Bot join channel... but don't ask OP...
and in the dcc chat writes following messages:
<Eggdrop> [11:04] confused bot: guess I'm on #luch and didn't realize it
<Eggdrop> [11:04] Oops, I'm not really on #luch
On commands:
<Cyrus> .channel join #lush
<Eggdrop> No such channel.
<Cyrus> .topic topic of channel
<Eggrop> I'm not on #luch right now!

Hi
Well the problem with bot being confused is that maybe Microsoft's IRC server isn't rfc compliant (never tried it)?
And as for commands, it's not .channel join #channel, it's .+chan #channel
Try reading .help all
