I have recently gotten stuck behind a firewall at location I dcc the bot from. Upon trying to gain access, I get the following:
[19:52] ALERT: (Sc###!~sc###@bkg437bey51oe.###.###.com) sent a DCC request with bogus IP information of 192.168.1.100 port 1892. ~
sc###@bkg437bey51oe.###.###.com does not resolve to 192.168.1.100!
Seems your client is sending the wrong DCC parameters. mIRC tends to do that if you're using it.. in that case messing with the local info settings for it might help.
