Chanstats v2.01 + eggdrop1.6.18 Problem

Post by technoman »

Hello,

i was running eggdrop1.6.17 with Chanstats v2.01 by Ernst and everything runs complete ok with no errors. But when i upgrade eggdrop to 1.6.18 (new installation) and run chanstats.tcl again ... i got an errors from eggdrop and the errors look like this.
<(eggdrop> [09:04] Tcl error [stats_part]: wrong # args: should be "stats_part nick uhost hand chan"
<(eggdrop> [09:04] Tcl error [stats_join]: invalid command name "date"
so i would be very thankful to any coders if they can kindly fixed this bugs. Thanks :)

From memory that is an old script and is no longer supported and the original author cannot be contacted.

i didn't know that.. then i guess he should stick to whatever version of eggdrop is recommended in the script's readme, or search for a different chanstats script

I was correct. It is dated 09/05/1999. I suppose with studying tcl-commands.doc the user could upgrade the script. :)
