Hi,
I've downloaded eggdrop 1.6.18, looked at
this tutorial for the config file, but I am overwhellmed with all the configurations to set. Is there a simple config for 1.6.18?
Thanks

As mentioned on the same page (setting up eggdrop):
http://www.egghelp.org/files.htm#config
You might as well *learn* the configs, cos it's not going to get any easier by avoiding learning eggdrop and tcl

There are no shortcuts, no easy way to do any of it; not even grabbing some one else's file to use for yourself.
Simply follow the steps (which are set out in lay terms) carefully as per the main site and, when done, recheck then simply fire up your bot.
Reading is required for all things eggdrop.
