OK, im running windows XP 2600 and this is the error i get when running a compiled eggdrop on my machine.
i had 1.4.1 but upgraded to 1.6.1., 1.6.4 and 1.6.6 and neither worked, even tho i know (hopefully) the conf file is fine.
Thanks

This problem lies in the configfile. Find the line "loadmod channel" in the config file, and either remove the "#" from the begining of the line (if it is there) and/or move the line in question, to before the line reading "channel add #jonni {"
re-read his output again man. that aint his problem. his problem is that windows is a [censored] os, and he really shouldn't be using precompiled binaries.
I must admit though, windrops give me a great laugh on IRC. Had some twit come online the other day, asking me why his bot wasn't online. Exaplined how to fix it, then he said it wouldn't load.
Only end's up, he compiled eggdrop on a linux box on his works network, but without the ability of a direct internet connection, transfered it to his home via e-mail. Then wonders why windows refused to load it.
