adduser with numeric in their nick [solved]

I searched forums for this to no avail,

When I try to .adduser ck-pharad0x it adds the user as ck-pharad
I tried quotes and it added the user as ck-phara
I even edited the user file when the bot was not running, adding 0x to the end of ck-pharad, restarting the bot, then doing .chattr ck-pharad0x +o #channel and it says user doesnt exist even though it is in the user file.
.adduser test0-x worked but not .adduser ck-pharad0x

*stumped*

EDIT:
I just tried .+user pharad0x and it worked but not .+user ck-pharad0x
Bug? or limitation?

The default for eggdrop is nicks no longer than 9 characters. To alter you need to edit eggdrop.h and recompile.
Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.
