after a software update on my shell server
all +a users are auto-opped without using the auth command of mooscript
the moo script requires too auth by typing
/msg Botnick AUTH <handle> <password>
to get auto opped with +a flag . the current mask is written to the user file.
Now every +a user is auto opped without auth´ing .. like the original idea of the +a flag.I cant use my bot anymore cos i have a lot of +a flags now which are auto opped..
i hope anyone can help me,

Remove all +a flags and move over to standard +o flags.

Allthough moo script provides an auth command, eggdrop provides a command just as good, and has done for many years.

Tell your users to send a message to the bot "/msg <bot> op <password>"

there are some other nice public commands which are also accessable after auth and i want to use them.
i know that the /msg botnick op <pass> but imo the auth script is easier to use..
so i would be happy if anyone could help me to solve the problem

Well, I can only gather the following.

moo script adds a hostmask for the user when he AUTH's himself.

So remove the matching hostmasks from the user, and all should be well.
