eggdrop 1.6.20 wont connect under Debian Squeeze

Hi Folks, after 2 hours of testing I give up and ask for help about it ..

i just installed the standard version of eggdrop1.6.20 (configure and make ouputs in paste)

Linux h1933563 2.6.32-5-amd64 #1 SMP Tue Jun 14 09:42:28 UTC 2011 x86_64 GNU/Linux
cat /etc/debian_version
6.0.2

and now the error itsself...

and yes the ircd allows connections on that port...
it has 18 clients on it currently
P 6667 85.214.139.254 18 active

any suggestions ?
