"restart" means .restart and .rehash.Alchera wrote:Get a fresh copy of the script and DO NOT do anything other that load it into the bot (restart) and THEN via the command console alter your settings (as per included instructions); there is really no need to physically screw around with the script which apparently you are (hence the error).

i did everything step by step that is written. Downlaoded a new untouched copy of the latest beta AP script. loaded it, did .restart and it tells me "TCL_ERROR: scripts/allprotection4.6b7.tcl: error: extra characters after close-quote". I'm assuming you're downloading the file onto a Windows box and then uploading to the shell and I have no idea if that really means anything either BUT I suggest the following ...
cd into your bot scripts directory and do the following (firstly deleting the existing copy of allprotection4.6b7.tcl):
As usual, .restart your eggdrop from the Command Console.
