Unfortunately, the symbol names are not available there. You'll have to use gdb to investigate the generated coredump, and use the backtrace command.
If you're not familiar with gdb; follow these instructions (taken from doc/BUG-REPORT)
If the bot dumped a 'core' file when it crashed, it would be *very* useful if you could paste gdb's output during the following steps:
First call gdb
$ gdb eggdrop -c core
and then enter 'bt' on gdb's command line:
(gdb) bt
Keep your core file for at least one week, so that the dev team can ask for further information if needed. However, don't send us the core file unless we ask for it.

no commands found is all i keep getting when trying
$ gdb eggdrop -c core

i have 1 core.32745
but none of the commands above work



will give it 1 more try tonight then lay it to rest ..
my health must come first
