HANDLEN and CTCP CHAT

Post by Xelas »

Hi, when I compile eggdrop with HANDLEN 9(default), I can chat with bot.
I send /ctcp Bot chat, and on bot I see:

Code: Select all

[17:40] [@] ^Xela!~sinitsa@195.39.207.32 PRIVMSG AllSisters :CHAT
[17:40] [!s] PRIVMSG ^Xela :DCC CHAT chat 3274165982 5891
[17:40] CTCP CHAT: from ^Xela (~sinitsa@195.39.207.32)
And chat accepted.

When I compile eggdrop with HANDLEN 32 I see only:

Code: Select all

[17:48] [@] ^Xela!~sinitsa@195.39.207.32 PRIVMSG AllSisters :CHAT
[17:48] CTCP CHAT: from ^Xela (~sinitsa@195.39.207.32)
Why? Bug? Feature?

Help my please

this rather looks like an issue with raw logging enabled or not :D.
There is no logical reason why longer handlen should prevent the bot from the CTCP DCC CHAT to you.

It doesn't.
Add [SOLVED] to the thread title if your issue has been.

solved for me. Wrong path in eggdrop.conf to modules. Was on modules-6.1.18 but it is in fact in /modules.
