fetch data from web

Post by iamdeath »

Hello, can anyone be kind enough to create me a tcl which will fetches data from URL and show it to someone who types !match in the channel. The bot will show the color which are colored on the web and rest as it is on the web. I will be highly thankful to you if someone please take out his precious time for me. I could do that too but it's pretty far ahead from my knowledge. Because I have nevr created a tcl which fetches data from web it's kinda hard :P and yeah the script wont show Forecast panel. Just Date Time and match.

Thank you soo much

I thought you'd already coded (from the ground up) a script for cricket scores etc?

If so, can't you achieve this yourself?

I might be interested in making this. But, yeah, why don't you try to take a stab at it Death? Plenty of example web-scripts I've made in the tcl archive. I looked at the html code for that page and its not all that complicated, should be pretty simple to retrieve the data, just need the right regexes..
