Hello, I'm not sure about this problem, but this morning I saw that my bot got a strange vHost which I don't set as below:
Code: Select all
aron@whoisme.once.whoisme.twicer.rv.ua
My question is how can I take this away? Usually my eggdrop connects to it's IP without any problems but now this. Is it anyone who know what I can do to resolve this problem so it connects to it's IP again?
Thank You
Alex

Check your my-host and my-ip settings in your eggdrop.conf.

I have done that, and they are the same as from the first day. No changes has been made.

Then either the vhost for that IP you use has changed on the shell box you are using, or, you are /whois'ing someone else who has taken your bot's nick.

Ok, thank you so much for your help/advice. I'll check with my host about that.
