Bot doesnt see anyone on the channel (?)

Please note that im new to this stuff, and it took me lot of effort to get the bot running, well its finally on, and on my channel. However, it wont respond to ctcp, ping, anything. When it connected, i notice this:

[10:20] === Astraaliv: 1 channels, 0 users.
Launched into the background (pid: 9389)

Apparently it doesnt see anyone on the channel, but we see it here.

Any solutions?

Edit: now i just thought about the logs, and it has indeed received all my pms. the CTCP chat wouldnt work though. well, it still wont respond to anything or do anything, any help?
edit2: it has also logged everything what was said on the channel.

The logmessage that you've posted does not mean it does not see anyone in your channel, it means that it has no users registered with your bot.

This would be the reason why it won't respond to any commands or dcc chat requests. Start by adding yourself to the bot, usually done by "/msg botnick HELLO", unless you've altered that binding in your configfile.
