I have 1 hub bot (p0s1t1v3) and one leaf bot (n3gat1v3) Here you have a DCC with n3gat1v3:

After i type .link p0s1t1v3 the stuff below come up very fast.

Edit your config file, and locate the section about sharing. Change the setting for the resynch buffer, to disable it. Then rehash the bot.
Also, do yourself a favour, as soon as you get your btos linking corectly, remove the auto-op flags (+a) and use a botnetop script. Damned sight more secure.
