web based admin

Post by druken »

call me a bit of a dreamer... but i was trying to make a web based administration tool for eggdrop, and the only way i can see this happening, is using yes, yet anouther port on the box, to build a webserving application.. of course this would be a custom jobbie using the eggdrop's userfiles for a login process.. once in i figure it would be very usefull, to be able to list users, change the flags, load and unload scripts, modules, ect... of course, i have absolutly no background in c, which makes this venture almost impossible for me to do... however... once the code is put infront of me... i can generally figure it out...

if someone would like to work with me on this venture, i can be reached many ways....

Modules like Gseen, have a addon module called webseen. This includes a web-server, designed to serve up requests.

On top, also see, stats.mod. This comes with a livestats feature, to serve up web-based stats.
