hello,
when i write /dcc chat "myeggdrop" it opens a new window with this message:
[Chat with "my eggdrop"
Waiting for acknowledgement...]
I can't do anything...
I need help please

Are you or the eggdrop behind a NAT firewall? If yes the do a lil forum Search and see how others fixed theyr problem.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.

Telnet to the bot then while you are on telnet then try to dcc chat the bot or ctcp chat
Couple things could be wrong
1 Your Ident is off so the bot doesnt know you
2 Could be firewall issues blocking the connection
So telnet into the bot then try to chat to see the responce on the partyline

He asked you to telnet to the BOT, not the shell.

Because Shell2 is behind NAT there are no open ports (except for the http) for the world.
I must telnet to my bot from the shell
$ telnet localhost (my bot port)
and it works

Me too, mine shows 127.0.0.1 instead of 2

I'm hosting this on a paid shell account. Do I have to enter any IP/hostname (for vhost) I haven't setup vhost yet. Please help, thanks!

Kidding right? Haven't you seen the NAT thing in the .conf file? Ofcource you must set it there.. doh!
