I have huge problems with this binding:

bind join - * proc_name

sometimes it works but often not. The Bot should notice each user joining the channel. But it does not ...

Check if you don't have another tcl that is listening for joins and returns them or something or check the script that should see the joins.
Once the game is over, the king and the pawn go back in the same box.
