thats pretty easy, you just need some sand from the mars (any sand from the earth wont work) and put into your hdd. thats the trick!

however, you would have too split the conf into 2 parts checking the .pid file... however... you can then simply create 2 config files, too :P

It has to be the special green shimmering sand tho not the regular red sand you find all over mars.

I tried this with no success

Semms the .conf file needs to be named "eggdrop" otherwise it wont compile
very well cant have 2 eggdrop.conf files in one directory. How to get around this lil obsticle was well beyond me.

since I have the disk space I simply made a duplicate copy of my entire bot directory, made the changes in the new bots .conf

start each bot then telnet in with their port numbers

now if your planning on linking them .....

the power of prayer, this forum, and real time help via irc youll get it done

you definitly can use other filenames than "eggdrop.conf". I personally use an "eggdrop.euirc.conf" ^^

hm. probably you meant "start", not "compile". however, there is a command line option to let it start with a conf file named other than eggdrop.conf.

no option, just as argument like:
./eggdrop myspecial.config

This is windrop so it would just be eggdrop.exe myspecial.config.
